notadate is an app for meeting people around things you actually want to do -- a coffee chat, a walk, a game night -- with no romantic layer anywhere in it. You browse plans rather than people. It is free, it is for adults 18+, and it is on the App Store for iPhone in the United States.

What notadate is

Someone posts a plan: a coffee chat at a cafe on Saturday, a walk after work, a hobby session, a game night. You see it near you, read the host's profile, and send a short message if you want to come. If the host accepts, messaging opens and you sort out the details. You can meet one-on-one or in a small group.

Nine kinds of plan cover everything on notadate: Coffee Chat, Walk and Talk, Music/Concert, Hobby Session, Study Buddy, Cultural Outing, Sports Activity, Game Night, and Community Hangout.

What notadate is not

• Not a dating app. No romantic intent, no swiping, nothing to rank.
• Not a profile deck. The thing you choose is a plan, not a person.
• Not group-only. Group meetup platforms ask you to walk into a room of strangers. Here the smallest thing you can say yes to is one person and one coffee.
• Not a feed to scroll. The point of notadate is the part that happens after you close it.

How it works

1. Browse plans near you

On a map or in a feed. Pick the activity, not the person.

2. Ask to join

Send the host a short message. They see your profile and get a feel for who you are and what you would have in common.

3. Sort out the details

If the host accepts, messaging opens for both of you.

4. Meet up

The exact location stays private until the host confirms the meetup. Before that, other people see the approximate area, not the address.
